My school is putting up Romeo and Juliet, and I’m off to watch it after typing this post. But dinner first of course. There’s a farewell camp for choir tomorrow, but I’m not sure if I’m going or staying overnight yet. None of the sec 4s know what to bring or anything – no one told us! And it’s supposed to be a camp for us… -_-;

Friday Five: When was the last time you…

1. …sent a handwritten letter? I sent a birthday card to Riley a few weeks ago, and wrote a letter in it too. Now I’m replying to the letter she sent after that.

2. …baked something from scratch or made something by hand? The last time I baked was… really long ago, last year if I’m not mistaken. ; The last thing I made was a gift for my Dad for Father’s Day.

3. …camped in a tent? I haven’t camped in a tent before… *everyone stares*

4. …volunteered your time to church, school, or community? I’m currently serving on Youth Fellowship in church. We just went to a nursing home during the holidays to help out. For school, the last community service I did was flag selling I think. I don’t like to sell flags, I end up slacking halfway. ;

5. …helped a stranger? Hmm… I don’t really remember this one, does giving directions to stranger’s count? ; But I remember when was the last time someone helped me, during the school holidays I had to go back for a Chemistry project. It was raining really heavily, and this guy from ITE sheltered me from the bus stop into school.

School started this Monday. It’s been ok so far, but usually nothing much goes on in the first week. After that all the homework and tests start flooding in. So far there’s already E Maths and A Maths mock exam. I’m looking forward to the Romeo and Juliet production this Friday, I’m sure it’ll be good.

A little late, but here’s the Friday Five:

1. Do you live in a house, an apartment or a condo? An apartment, I’m not that rich to live in a house or condo.

2. Do you rent or own? You mean my parents, they own. Like 90% of the people in Singapore do, thanks to HDB’s house ownership scheme… ;

3. Does anyone else live with you? Mum, Dad, brother, maid.

4. How many times have you moved in your life? Once, when I was in primary 3. I’m hoping to be able to move again sometime… *thinks of nice big house*

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Chill out and enjoy myself. Sleep in on Saturday, watch TV and come online at night. Go to church on Sunday, watch Autumn in my Heart when I reach home and finish up my homework. School restarts again on Monday.

Have to visit the newspaper publisher’s tomorrow, and Shih Hui managed to get herself excused from it. Reason? Chow In is not going. What kind of reason is that?! And Mdm Sun actually allowed her not to go. What the?! Like hello?! That is not even a reason. We all know she likes Shih Hui and Chow In, but how could she?! Not fair.

That can be another thing to add to my list of why I don’t exactly like Shih Hui. She used to be nice in primary school, but in recent years she’s changed. Trying to hang out with the popular people, sucking up to the teachers… She gets like 1 wrong for spelling then she’s goes like “Oh Mdm Sun I got one wrong” and all that rubbish. Others get like 10 wrong and they are not complaining. Can’t stand it.

Got another forward about keeping my Hotmail account. I really hate it when I get those forwards, they always go like forward this to x number of people, blah blah. If not your account will be deleted. I think it’s just so stupid, why do people even believe that those emails are true? No offence to those who forward such mails, but if Hotmail wants to clear accounts, they can just delete those that are inactive for 1 month or so. If there’s really a need to email, they can just email all users straight away, why bother to ask people to forward messages? What about those whose accounts are private? They may never recieve those forwards, and their accounts will be deleted? I think that’s simply ridiculous. I don’t understand why people choose to believe it and keep passing it on, this way these emails will never stop. Don’t they get it?!
