心痛
Quite surprised that I managed to find a video for this song, since it’s a bit old. You can tell from the video!

mini reviews I
I’ve been watching quite a number of shows since the holidays started, since other than work, there’s pretty much nothing to do. Plus there’s nothing I find interesting showing on TV these days. If there’s a show you want to recommend, go ahead! There’s always time to watch more until the new semester starts.

Happy Birthday Serene!
Finally met up with the uni girls today, after a few weeks of delay. Since Serene’s birthday is just around the corner, we got her a cake.

I think Wan’e made a good choice! I really like the cake.

セリーンちゃんお誕生日おめでとうございます! I thought you’d have guessed something was going on when Wan’e and I disappeared together, but in any case I hope you enjoyed the cake!
saturday lessons again?!
What’s with the crappy timetable for the next semester?!
I’ve already gotten used to having lessons at 8.30am everyday, but next semester there’s lessons on saturday! I shouldn’t be complaining since the Biomedical Science people always seem to have lessons on saturdays, but hey, they’re doing a double degree so they have more lessons. There’s also long breaks in between lessons on monday and thursday. And there’s only 1 lesson each on wednesday and friday! It’s silly to have to come for just one lesson, especially when my travelling time is just as long as the lesson time. It’s even worse for people who live nearer to the other end of the country.
I’m hoping right now that I can slot my electives into the breaks and have good exam dates for those, but so far all the exams for the electives I chose fall on the same day as exams for my core subjects. Which really sucks because I don’t want to spend the afternoon sitting in school, waiting for the next exam. Seems like theres changes to the Japanese Language syllabus as well. Instead of 4 different levels now there’s 5? So now I’m not sure which exactly is the one I’m supposed to choose. But the good thing is that it’s now 3 hours of lessons per week instead of 4, so it means a lighter workload. If I end up taking it, that is.
Been going around looking at televisions lately. The one we have at home is about to spoil, and there’s always this buzzing noise when it’s switched on. Very irritating, because you have to try to make out what is being said during the shows. And the other day there was no sound at all, though the sound is back now. Mum keeps saying that a 32 inch one is big enough, but dad wants a 37 inch one. Me? It’s quite easy to guess what size I’d rather have.
Got to wait till the TV spoils though!
